| message | Dear Sirs,
I am interested in SQE qualification and would like to take preparation course with QLTS School.
My understanding is that with a shift from QLTS to SQE a Russian lawyer no longer needs to be an advocate to qualify as a solicitor and it is only required to:
- have a degree in any subject - I can file my LLB diploma through special application form within SRA account
- pass both stages of the SQE assessment
- have two years' Qualifying Work Experience - I can confirm this through special application form within SRA account attaching a confirmation from a solicitor who has worked with me
- meet the SRA’s character and suitability requirements - this to be done at a later stage before admission as a solicitor by filing relevant evidence through SRA account
Kind regards,
Vera |
