message | Dear Support Team
My name is Yoojin Lim, and I completed the GDL and the LPC about 10 years ago and worked as a paralegal, a claim handler in the legal team of a shipping company, and a legal translator.
I am interested in taking your SQE2 prep course to prepare for SQE this coming October/November.
With regard to this, I have a number of questions I would like to ask, and I would be grateful for your response.
Question 1
I understand that I can take SQE2 right away without taking SQE1 due to the LPC. However, as I completed the GDL and the LPC about 10 years ago, I cannot remember all the details of the law I learned from the above courses although I have worked in the legal sector. For example, I have never applied criminal law, wills & estates or any procedural laws, etc. to my work, and I have little memory of this.
Despite this, would taking your SQE2 prep course alone be sufficient to successfully pass SQE2? Or do I need to review SQE1 materials or the GDL/LPC materials?
Question 2
I am planning to take SQE2 this October/November, and I am willing to prepare for this exam on a full-time basis. How long does it take to complete your SQE2 prep course if I study this full-time? Would 5 months be sufficient time to prepare for this exam?
Question 3
Can you please tell me the test pass rate of those who have taken your SQE2 prep course if you don't mind?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards
Yoojin
