message | Dear Sirs,
I was wondering if you could assist me with a few questions I have.
I graduated with a Qualifying Law Degree in 2005. I undertook, and passed, the BVC (as was) in 2006, and am also a CILEX Member - Advanced Paralegal (Graduate Member) of CILEX. I am interested in undertaking the SQE, but am unsure if I need to do SQE1 & 2 or just 2?
In 2018, I was subject to an investigation by the SRA. This was wholly vexatious, and I was cleared of any wrongdoing at the investigation stage. The SDT weren’t involved, and no costs were levied against me. I am concerned that this will count against me when/if I apply for a place on a course, or apply to the SRA.
I am also wondering what screening process is required for the SQE? The reason I ask is because I don’t have a driving licence or passport.
Any assistance would be gratefully received.
